Pip’s is a family-run café, restaurant and bakery at Lopenhead, South Petherton, one minute from the A303. Everything is made from scratch, here, by us.
Breakfast comes with our own baked beans and hash browns. Lunch is small plates for sharing: bang bang mushroom wings, house-smoked pork, and a charred hispi cabbage that wins over even the most committed carnivore. The menu changes with the seasons.
From the bakery, our s’mores brownies and s’mores hot chocolate are the ones people come back for: homemade marshmallow fluff, salted caramel and dark chocolate. Our hot chocolate is made with 100% dark chocolate, never powder, and our syrups are homemade.
Eat in one of our restored 1850s railway carriages, on the top deck of the double-decker bus, in the marquee, or out in the garden, surrounded by the organic farm. Coffee and cake needs no booking. For breakfast and lunch, booking ahead helps, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
